Rate limits and errors
60 requests a minute per key, JSON errors with a message and a code, and what each status means.
FormsAI Pro
Each key can make 60 requests a minute. Over that, the API answers 429 with "code": "rate_limit"; wait and try again.
Errors are JSON with a human-readable error and, where useful, a code:
{ "error": "Send your API key as `Authorization: Bearer fk_live_…`. Make one in Settings → API.", "code": "unauthenticated" }| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|

413 | The request body is too large (2 MB for form documents). |
422 | Something in the request isn't valid; the message says what. |
