When someone gives a vague answer, Filo asks one short follow-up on the same screen before they move on. Clear answers get none. Each question is followed up at most once per respondent.

Where follow-ups show up

  • In the response panel, under the answer.
  • In exports, as a “Filo's follow-up” column after the question.
  • In webhooks and the API, as followups with the question and the reply.

Follow-ups run on live forms shown one question at a time. Each one uses one follow-up from your allowance (2,000 a month on Pro); your form works normally if the allowance runs out.
