Connect a custom domain
Add a subdomain such as forms.yourbrand.com in Settings, point one DNS record at FormsAI, and every published form works on it.
FormsAI Pro
On this page
With a custom domain your forms live at your own address: forms.yourbrand.com/spring-survey instead of app.formsai.dev/f/spring-survey. HTTPS certificates are issued and renewed automatically.
- Go to Settings → Custom domains.
- Type a subdomain you own, such as
forms.yourbrand.com, and select Add domain. - FormsAI shows the DNS record to add. Add it at your DNS provider; see add the DNS record.
- Wait for the status to change from Waiting for DNS to Live. The page checks every 20 seconds; Check now checks straight away.
- Optionally choose a form for the domain's root.
Once it's live
- Every published form works at
https://your-domain/its-address. - The Share tab lists each form's link on your domain, and the Publish menu adds Copy link on your domain.
- Your
app.formsai.dev/f/…links keep working too. - Only your own forms are reachable on your domain; anything else shows a plain “not found” page.
Use a subdomain
A root domain like yourbrand.com can't point to FormsAI, because DNS doesn't allow a CNAME record there. Use a subdomain: forms., survey., apply. or anything you like.
