Show and hide screens

Keep a screen out of the form until a rule shows it, or hide a screen depending on an answer.

Jumps are good for whole paths. When only a question or two should come and go, show and hide them instead.

Hidden until a rule shows it

  1. Select the screen in the Build tab and open Visibility, or use its menu in the rail.
  2. Turn on Hidden until logic shows it. The screen gets a dashed outline in the flow map.
  3. In Logic, on an earlier screen, add a rule with Show screen and pick it.

People skip hidden screens as if they weren't there, until a rule shows them.

Hide a screen

Hide screen takes a visible screen out of the flow for this respondent, for example to skip a delivery address when someone picks “Collect in store”.
