Pre-fill answers from a link
Add a question's reference to the URL and its answer is filled in before the form opens: ?email=ada@example.com&plan=Pro.
Every plan
- Select the question and give it a Reference in Group & reference, such as
emailorplan. - Add it to the link as a parameter:
app.formsai.dev/f/your-form?email=ada@example.com&plan=Pro. - Open the link: the answers are already filled in, and people can change them.
How values are read

| Text, email, website, phone | The text as written. |
| Number, rating, opinion scale, NPS | A number within range. |
| Multiple choice, picture choice, dropdown | The choice's label (any case) or id. |
| Yes / No | yes, no, true or false. |
| Date | YYYY-MM-DD. |
Values that don't fit the question (a word in a number question, an option that doesn't exist) are ignored. Names that are hidden fields stay hidden fields.
