Export and import a form file

Download a form as JSON and create a new form from it, in your account or someone else's.

Export

Publish a form, then open the arrow beside Publish and select Export form file. You get a .json file with the form's questions, logic, theme and settings, but no responses.

Import

  1. Select Create form.
  2. Choose Import a form file and pick the .json file.
  3. A new form opens with everything from the file.

Imported forms get new ids and their own address, and start as drafts. A new form counts towards the Free plan’s 3 active forms.
