A tour of the builder
Five tabs (Build, Design, Logic, Share, Results), a screens rail, a live canvas and a settings panel.
Every plan
On this page
Open any form from Forms to get the builder. Each work area is its own grey island on a white page, the same layout Typeform uses.

The top bar
- Back to forms and the form's name. Click the name to rename the form.
- The tabs: Build, Design, Logic, Share and Results.
- A save indicator: Saving…, Saved just now, Not saved — retrying or Changed elsewhere.
- The notification bell and the form's status: Draft, Live, Live · edited or Closed.
- Ask Filo (Build and Design tabs), Preview and Publish.
The three panes
| Pane | What it does |
|---|---|
| Screens rail (left) | Every screen in order, grouped into Welcome, Questions and Endings, with live thumbnails. Drag to reorder; the … button or a right-click opens Move up, Move down, Duplicate, Hide until logic shows it and Delete. |
| Canvas (middle) | Your form drawn by the same renderer respondents get. Click any text to edit it. Switch between Desktop, Tablet and Mobile, zoom from 25% to 200% or Fit to screen, and show or hide the grid. |
| Settings (right) | The selected screen's settings: the question's options, Default answer, Group & reference, the button, Layout & media, Style for this screen and Visibility. On the Design tab this becomes the theme panel. |
