Autosave, undo and version history

Every edit saves itself, 200 steps of undo, a warning when another tab changes the form, and every published version kept.

Autosave

The builder saves your draft a moment after you stop changing it, and when you leave the page. ⌘S saves straight away. The top bar shows Saving… and then Saved. If the connection drops it shows Not saved — retrying and keeps trying; the browser warns you before you close a tab with unsaved changes.

Undo and redo

⌘Z undoes and ⌘⇧Z redoes, up to 200 steps. Typing is grouped, so one undo removes a phrase rather than a letter.

Edited in two places at once

If the same form changes in another tab, on another device or by a teammate, FormsAI doesn't overwrite it silently. A banner says the form was changed elsewhere; choose Load their version or Keep mine.

Version history

  1. Open the arrow beside Publish and select Version history.
  2. Every published version is listed with its date; the live one says Live now.
  3. Select Restore on a version. It replaces your draft; respondents see nothing until you publish.
